You know, she IS a tad shiny. I see two reasons for this: 1. I didn't bother to paint it, since it was already O.D. green, and #2, I sprayed it with Model Master flat Laquer. and it seemed to be slightly glossy. I don't recall if I thinned it or not, I know if you over-thin it, it gets glossy. I tried spraying AK interactive flat "varnish" the other day on another project, and it would spray for a few seconds, then clog. I tried back-flushing it with my finger over the tip, then it started bubbling by the trigger, and the air valve stuck wide open.... Where it did spray, I really liked the results, it was flat as ever, and you really had to pay attention to where you sprayed it, as it was just as flat as the flat paint I was spraying it over... Once I get the hang of spraying flat acrylic clear, I will re-coat it to "flatten" it down some....
I would also like to add some antennas to it, I see them in all the 1:1 pics, but have not found the right materials to use yet....
