1/32 scale pre finished buildings
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 3:17 PM
Hi.
I'm just new here and at collecting 1/32 scale models and could use some help. I would like to know where I can locate good pre painted or prefinished (whichever is correct) WW II bomb damaged or destroyed buildings?
I don't have the physical abilities to do the painting or building due to an incident a few years ago. I enjoy collecting and admiring the great details of these models just the same.
Your help would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day.

Wow, Dave. 1/32. That could be a tough one here. Might be better to post this question over on the aircraft side. However, if 1/35 buildings would be close enough for you, Verlinden makes a lot of diorama stuff.I've never gotten any, so I'm not sure if it's prepainted or not. Sorry. I'm sure there will be lots of guys who do mega dioramas on here to point you the way very soon.

I mostly wanted to say welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your time here with us crazies!!

Thanks for the quick reply. Like I mentioned about my inability to build or finish so I have to buy diecast model tanks and such so that is why the 1/32 scale. I hope to try my hand at a simple diorama just to see how it turns out. I will try the aircraft side as well for their input. Thanks. Have a great day.

The differences between 1/35 and 1/32 are miniscule, and if you throw figures in it, it won't be noticeable.
Unfortunately, I'm not aware of ANY companies providing pre-finished dio parts. I know there are a boatload out there that provide all sorts of different buildings, but none of them pre-finished, I'm afraid.
