I'm in the middle of building the Tamiya Leopard 2A5, and if I hadn't decided to add a bunch of PE would be done with assembly now. The basic kit is very well engineered and builds into an excellent model out of the box. The only "complicated" aspect of the kit will the the three-color camo.

Hi thank you all for your replies, Ill check out the mentioned models was at hobby store today,,,tons of different models to choose from of course. Seen some very cool personnel carries, I like the more oddball stuff. But would like something that relaxing and not a headache ,,,my wife said your suppose to be having fun not all stressed lol

Building the Tamiya SdKfz 251 or any other kit, make sure you clean off all seams, flash and sprue attachment nubs.  Then dry fit the parts before gluing.  Use liquid cement. Its capillary action will run the length of the seams of the 2 parts you want to glue.

I'll second that Tamiya Jeep, the newer kit is a little gem. 

That Tamiya kit is as old as they get, not a good representation of Tamiya. I recently built the Tiran 5 by them, which is a rerelease of their T-55. I thought it was a fantastic kit.

I've also built a Cyber Hobby Sherman and ISU-152 in the last year. I liked them, esp. the M4 as it included all kinds of extra parts. The fit was bad though on the 152 getting parts to fit into the holes and slots on the hull.Lots of test fitting required. And the front drive cover on the Sherman did not fit for beans because again it was an optional separate part. Both problems were solvable, but it was no shake the box exercise.

And just last week I put together the Tamiya Willys MB Jeep. Also a great kit.
