                        Hi yall, saw a book a few weeks back in barnes and noble, It had to do with Marine tankers in world war II, I thought it said something sepcifically about okinawa but I am not too positive, was wondering if anyone else saw this book as well.

                         Tanks On The Beaches:A Marine Tanker In The Pacific War, by Robert Neiman?  He fought on Iwo Jima and Okinawa.

                        I think Ed Gilbert also wrote a book about Marine Corps tank battles in the Pacific.
