That is gorgeous, Gino!

You did an outstanding job, converting and scratchbuilding into one beautiful build...wow.

Regards, Dan

Man, that's beautiful. Good job.
My own skills and lack of proper tools kind of keep me away from scratchbuilding something of this size. So far I've only managed small replacement parts, but this rig is just phenomenal. I really wish there were more of these support vehicle kits out there.

Excellent work Gino, That really turned out great!

The pics turned out pretty good but focus or depth of field is a little off (understandable if your camera is as bad as mine). What camera were you using?

The tractor is mostly scratch and converted. All that is left of the Renwal kit is the frame, rear axles, engine, transmission, cab floor, seats, firewall, front fenders and hood, fuel tank on left side, modified winches, and modified front grill. The front axle, fifth wheel and tires are from the Tamiya Dragon Wagon. The wheels are from a 1/24th scale AMT International Paystar dumptruck, sanded to a smaller diameter to fit the Dragon Wagon tires. The rest is scratch. The M15 trailer is from the Tamiya Dragom Wagon kit. The bed was widened, steps widened, ramps over rear wheels scratchbuilt, tie down schackles added on sides, loading ramps at rear moved out to line up with wider bed, and many other details added. Other than that, it is all from the kit!!!! It was a joy to build and I am really satisfied with the results. Now I have to build an M48A3 to go on the back of it.

Here is my completed M123A1C with M15A1 trailer. It was scratch/converted using old Renwall wrecker as base with parts from Dragon Wagon, M925, and wheels from 1/24 scale truck model and lots of scratchbuilding. Without further ado, here are the photos, enjoy:

I think I am getting better at the photos. These are in natural light, outside, with a tripod. Let me know what you think.
