Dragon's #6700 contains decals for 311 of s SS PzAbt 101, including the optional blue numbers, so you should be good to go with that kit.

Many thx again Bish!

I have 6383 and was looking for an interesting picture and found this. 6383 looks XLNT in the box.

Will have to research for a T1 late - but later - first this one :)

I have a few Dragon Tigers in the stash but have not built any yet. But from what I have read they are all usual Dragon fair. I found a review on the kit you mentioned, it has the slide moulding, which I rather like and DS tracks, I would rather have magic Tracks myself.

According to this one, there is no AA mount for the cupola.

Hope those help.

Wow, thx Bish!

That was quick :)

So it is a mid production. Could not see the roadwheels before you posted the link.

Can anyone comment on Dragons #6700?

A large color photo of her "sister" 304 can be seen here, note the blue and yellow tactical numbers, which replaced the previous all-white numbers of the 3rd company, which were determined to be too bright, (Tigers in Combat, vol II, page 7);

Although most of the photos I see of 311 appear to have white numbers, it must have been repainted with blue/yellow ones too, as the Dragon kit 6700 has the blue decals. Haven't found a clear photo yet.

Other photos of 311 can be found near the bottom of the page. I have better copies of some of these if you want them.

The turret number is 311. There are two more images here, lower left.

Scheme would be 3 colour, but the exact layout of colours would be a guess. There is a colour plate lower down the page oin that link.

The picture is published by the Wikipedia / Bundesarchive joint effort.

The text confirms that the tank bellongs to 101st SS Heavy Panzer Battalion, Wiki text:

Would anyone have a reference to the Camo Scheme and Turret #?
