                        I just received my new kit and I was wondering if anyone had built this kit that might give me some pointers

                        I am assuming you are refering to the newer Perfect Scale Modelbau conversion from Germany.  If so, I have not built it myself, but have seen some very nice builds of it.  From what I have read, it is a very nice kit and there are no real issues with it.

                        If you mean the old Verlinden conversion, I built it years ago and it was a pain in the a$$ with all the PE parts for parts that shouldn't have been PE (like the entire boom) and the solid resin turret sucked as well.  If you have the Verlinden one, send it back and get one of the PSM versions (full turret detail, closed turret, or British version.)
