I'm pretty sure there are Model 62 (60?) T-62s in that conflict, but they might be hard to recognize as such since they will have most certainly gone through the rebuilding program that included the fitting of the RmSh (T-72 style) tracks and corresponding sprockets. I'n not great at recognition points on these tanks, and the tracks are one of the key indicators to my un-trained eyes, so it's tough for me to be sure.

Current Syrian conflict T-62 question
Posted by hello_dolly on Sunday, December 13, 2015 3:17 AM

I have a T-62 in 1962 model and was wondering if I can build it to fit the current Syrian conflict. I looked around the net for T-62 photos but most of them are in 1972 model. Is there a possibility that a 1962 model was also used? Thanks!
