                        Spector- The tracks are the kit rubber band ones. Just took a little extra TLC getting them looking nice. I still need to play around with it alot more but everytime I do I learn something new.

                        Panzer striker- My secret is just reading alot on here and not being afraid to try something new. Did alot of experimenting on this build and they all just happen to work out nice. Was'nt but about 8 months ago that I did my first armor and did'nt know what a wash or drybrush was till I started hanging out around here.

                        VERY NICE build LQ2, the weathering is fanstastic , like the 2 tone camo as well . Did you use stock tracks on your build or the kit ones ? They look good too . One hint on photoshop make sure you roughen up the edges of the picture you layer on top ( your model ) it will make it blend in better , and hence make it look like it belongs there , also there is a feature in there somewhere to adjust light angles on your model , that also makes sure that it blends into the pasted background ! That program is really fun to play with , and man can you do a lot with it ! Have fun ! Once again Great build !Cool [8D]

                        Looks great!

                        Man, that must have been a tough vehicle to fight in. Just look at the crew "compartment". It's just the rear deck of the turreted 38t with some small metal plates on either side.

                        I tried the salt technique myself a couple of times. I found it to be quite effective. The effect you acheived just is just beaitufil.

                        Nice job Chris!!!! I love the road wheels especially! They look all greasy, and worn. Perfect! The muffler is another high point; I just love that rusty, gritty effect you managed to get. From the photos, it looks like the tracks could use a rusty wash, but overall GREAT BUILD!!!!!!                         Come to think of it I dont have any British builds yet. My wife is working on the quad gun truck right now though if that counts. Have been thinking about picking up a Challenger though. Might do that if Hobby Lobby still has them. I have touched on desert weathering with my first armor build when I did a Bradley but I have learned many things since that one. Ahh the choices for what to build next!

                        What nationalality haven't you attempted yet Chris? Have you built a British tank? Perhaps one in Africa would further test your skills in weathering.

                        Thanks for the kind words all. It definatly helps haveing nothing to do all day except build alot. Just have to decide whats next. Might depend on what I find at Hobby Lobby this week to continue my deal with never paying full price for kits!

                        Peter- Probally not going to be a crew. Thats one area I have not been able to get down is the figures. Thats why a whole box of the little guys were just redeployed from my parts box to another assignment in a different one.

                        Ed- Thanks for pointing that out. I always seem to over look something. I also realized after I put the pics up that I did'nt blacken the end of the barrel any. Oh well, just gives me another afternoon with it.

                        Eric - Actually it's the3rd. Wink [;)] Also did a car build right before the Dragon Wagon.

                        Thanks again guys. Now for the hard part, decideing what to build next!

                        excellent!
                        my only suggestion is a bit of rust for the track hanging on the front of the hull.
                        it looks 'brand new' compared to the links driving the Marder.

                        love the muffler! looks positively scabby!

                        You really are getting Better and Better with each build Chris.

                        Just a tip: I've found that a little stencilling on the 75mm projectile improves their look significantly. Some L46 rounds had unpainted steel tips, which also gives it a bit of contrast. Now when do we see the crew?
