Finally, after a month of perseverance, and patience, I hope I did justice to the model and the kit. Tried my best to make it as close to the real thing as possible. Here is the Revell 1:72 scale T-90S Bhishma of the Indian Army, in the Republic Day parade paint scheme. The beast is on the move !
P.S: The model is all hairy-stick painted.
Below are some pictures in comparison to the real one:

Well done and it looks great

Very cool, not something you see everyday. Neat camo and a perfect excuse for a clean tank!

nicelky done. is that length and link track? if so how easy is it to work with?
i guess they did paint the rear log for the parade given the forward tow hooks are red. neat camo pattern

Thanks Waynec. Well I didn't know it was actually a log at the back. Though I always thought it was. Somehow I felt this was some kinda exhaust pipe system.
Anyway, the tracks come in 4 separate long pieces and 4 separate short pieces. The longer pieces have to be bent with lukewarm water so that they shape around the lower part of the front and rear road wheels, to be able to reach upto the upper track link-ups. This is a kinda tedious job and has to be done very patiently else the track could break.
Also, you have to ensure the track is bent only with the help of lukewarm water and not hot water.
the track sounds really annoying.
i think all russian tanks have the log. My T-72 i just finished did the log is for self extracting from mud. i know we were taught and parcticed it in Armor school at FT. Knox but that was 3 careers ago .
i think you put the track under the rear of the tracks and connect a tow cable around it and the rear track and kinda slowly back out.
now i am going to have to look it up, could make for a different base.
