Tamiya kit 35346 M4A3E8 Easy Eight kit is a completly new tool, Came out in 2015. I believe there one sprue that came from the original kit.  There are few you-tube reviews out on it.

Yes,you are correct,it is brand new kit diffrent from the one you have pictured there.

Note that Tamiya recently came out with Tamiya 25175 another Easy 8 which is a rebox of the Tasca/Asuka kit which is also very good.

But the new one is all Tamiya.

Tamiya Sherman Question
Posted by SubarooMike on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 7:19 PM

Hello everyone!   I'm an aircraft guy so please excuse the stupid question. I'm broading my horizons and getting into Armor. I've always been a collector of armor but never a builder.

I'm looking into purchasing Tamiyas new-tool (I THINK it's a new tool)  Sherman Easy Eight.  From my understanding that is a new tool-kit.    If it is in fact a new tool kit, would this Tamiya Sherman be an older tool?   1981 I think I read?

Here is the kit I believe to be an older tool?
