It has just hit the shelves and I just could not wait any longer... However, I was rather disappointed with the kit... Here's a review from the Landship site (where other info on real Whippet can be found)..

As far as I'm concerned, I can also say that most of the kit looks fine, and despite the little omissions/mistakes mentionned in the Landship review, the details are really good and the kit appears easy to build. However, I really did not like the tracks. At all. First of all, each track/wheels unit is made of only 2 parts, one of them with the track plates molded on. Pictures of the real Whippet show that there is a sizeable (and variable) gap between the track plates and the structure that holds the wheels, but Emhar system completely obliterate that gap. Moreover the track plates are very flat, while the real ones show very distinctive bump at one end. This is going to be really time consuming to rectify... It's a great shame because there's so many possibilities opened up by the kit, not just in terms of super-detailling, but also because the tank was also used by the Russians and the Japanese (decals for those countries are provided in the kit)...
