Here's a subject that you don't see very often, Air Force armor:
This is the Hobby Boss Vietnam model converted into the Air Force Security Police M-706. Commonly calledd the "Pig" or the Rubber Duck, it carried a 13 man reaction team in case of trouble. This is the old Verlinden kit. I had to cut the entire top off and rebuild the parapit armor because for some reason Verlinden decided to mold it with a tarp over that area. Nobody covered the top, that would cause trouble when the weapons had to be deployed, so I think he was just being lazy. All vehicles were washed when returned to the armory and kept fairly clean. The other is the M-113: I'm using the original Tamiya kit as this was the same model we had. This one was our mobile command post. My project is almost finished but I don't have any shots of it yet.
