BAN DAI 1/48 Panzerkampfwagen

My friend built a Panther G back in the mid 70's. I recall it had some really great detail

Never seen a bandai kit built? hmm... they can't compare to the new kits. But for a long time these were the only 1/48 armor kits in town. Here's their schwimmwagen with a  modified Tamiya figure and misc items from my spare box.

You could be describing any of several Bandai kits. Please give the full name.
