Love the hat Anthony. I mean I love the build Anthony. Not to go OT, but is that a replica hat? Just needs the DAK insigna on the front. Anyhoo...Really nice build and I admire that you had to paint all the rubber on those gazillion wheels. I guess I might have missed the wip on this, but a solid build for sure. Makes me want to finish my Tiger I late. Way overdue.

I like it. I checked out your pics up close and this Tunisian Tiger has the look and the feel of being 58 tons heavy. Nice work on everything.

Thanks gentlemen, the tracks do give it some heft.

Total insanity avoided by not fully painting the interior wheels that are totally hidden.

Yes,the field cap is a replica, from a company named Hessian Militaria.

Nice build, and the colours look good.

That's the new kit 6608, isn't it? Did you have any specific problems?

Thanks you David, yes it is,I enjoyed it,no problems beside my own abilities. For me the feifels were tough to line up,and of course lining up all of those roadwheels.Dragon did include the wrong size cable for the smaller tow hooks,I had to get my own.But with the help of your site,I got through it.

I used Model Master Enamels to paint it.

Thank you!

Could you explain what was wrong with the cable? Too thick?

Solid work there Tojo! Tiger looks great and I love the commander figure, he looks just right. If you photoshopped the second photo into a desert scene I'd think it was the real thing!

I don't think this Tiger spent much time in the desert! It was probably at Sidi bou Zid, but apart from that it would be around farms, hills, streams and urban areas.

Yes the cable that came with the kit looked like it came from the other tiger types, way too thick for the kits towing hooks.

@tigerman, outside of the old "Haunted Tank" or "Sgt Rock" comics, no Tiger tank ever sported the DAK palm and swastika emblem. FYI
