Thanks again for the info on the cleaning rods. Actually, I needed to re-read facts. What I remembered as a M10 having a 90mm was the 90mm gun motor carraige M36.

No, that was my mistake. The M10 had the 3" gun, not the 90mm.

Thanks but a little confused now. Was the mid production actually using the M3 90mm? I thought it came out later. It appears to be using a shorter barrel M7 76.2mm in the kit.

Part D52 are cleaning rods for the 90mm gun.  Leave them OD.  The M10 had no aiming stakes as part of its equipment inventory.

In the Tamiya M10 mid roduction kit, there is a part that includes 4 rods to be attached to the back bulkhead in the compartment. Are these rods for barrel cleaning, or for aiming markers? Makes a difference on painting. I don't find them in reference pictures.
