i wanted to use ICMs apc riders and dragons motorized infantry kit where two are standing and one is sitting. I figured the two standing could be in hatches while the others are sitting

Hello!

I have found this pic on the web:

But I think this is some kind of newer machine, not a BTR-70. Thing is, Soviet troops didn't do much riding on top of the vehicle. In Europe the weather is not so good, it's only seldom very hot, and the machines were built for heavy fighting, going right after the tanks. Lots of flying lead was expected in the air, not to mention the fallout and radiation, so the doctrine was more like riding inside and quick dismounting at the target (check out the side doors, between the pairs of wheels).

Hope it helps, have a nice day and good luck with your build

Hey y'all I'm looking at buying an BTR-70 and want to do a scene where theres infantry loaded on it and some of them are in the hatches looking out. My question is, where eactly would the infantry hatches be for them to look out, or what would be a feasible area for them to be standing if doing so. I've located the two hatches behind the turret but besides that i'm unsure.
