ModelMasters OD and Faded OD work pretty well, and I agree with you tamiya's OD is too dark

nope, post war, when they were deployed to europe. i find XF62 a bit too dark. on the box side it's much lighter, almost like testors olive drab, the stuff that came in the really little squared bottles

Warmonger - are you asking if the 9th/2nd A.D.'s has the M41 during W.W.II?
If so, they didn't, it was designed to replace the Chaffee after W.W.II.

The Jumbo's were, like other U.S. vehicles of W.W.II, painted in O.D. .... I'd use Tamiya XF-62 myself.

if the 9th/2nd armored div's had the M41. starting a M4A3E2, always liked the look of that turret, and i'll have a coupla spare unit decals. also, what shade of green comes closest to the box art? in Franz Josefs book, Hole in the Donut, there's a pic of the first tank in Bastonge. natch, that'll be my versionBig Smile [:D]
