Thanks. An unusual kit I'd not seen before (I've got the Vomag bus in the stash to build too). I couldn't find any historical references to cammo patterns for the Voman and I hadn't done a flat german grey. Gave me a chance to play with a dot filter. Came out ok in the end :-)

Still pondering about a dio...

I like the look of that,  really nice looking build and not something i have sen before. Could easily be mistaken for 35th.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

All 'ya need now is a good backdrop and it'd be hard

That's some nice work! I really like the way you did the dust and dirt.

And the base works fine as something to show off the model, I've seen a lot of people (including me) overcomplicate things.

Hi folks. Here's my recently finished 1/72 Vomag with an 88 flack. The kit is from Roden and fits together nicely with no issues. It's painted with vallejo and tamiya paints and weathered with oils and pigment powders. I added a bit of random wiring to the engine and opened up the side of the hood for a view of the engine.

I don't have a dio in mind for it so I've left it as is - I'll add appropriate stowage once it's in place.

Always happy to answer any questions or hear any tips you have. A full build log is available over on my blog: http://www.richbuilds.com/articles/build-review-roden-727-172-selbstfahrlafette-auf-fahrgestell-vomag-7-660-mit-88-cm-flak/
