Good advice. I'll keep that in mind for the next Panzer I build!
Really nice looking. I always like subdued weathering. Great job on the decals. Something I noticed: the return rollers should be black not base color, as they are rubber. Later war panzers adopted all steel. A bit of overspray on the wheel rims with black which could be corrected in the future using an artist template. Keep up the great work!

Finished. Went light on the dust effect, but overall like how it came out.
Good tip. I'll change that this weekend hopefully as well as add tracks.
Phil_H If I may offer a suggestion, paint the inside of the commander's hatch the same as the hull base colour, with leather/brown for the rectangular head pads. White just screams out to snipers "Here I am, shoot me".

Here are some pictures without tracks. Hopefully will have them done next weekend. Apologies for the bad lighting, may be hard to see the camo job.

Thank you bish!! Very nice build! I will certainly post some pictures.
Like many AFV's, it users a torsion bar suspension. Each axel arm is conneted to a bar that goes through the bottom of the hull and is anchored on the other side. This means that for each opposite par of wheels there are two torsion bars close together anchored at opposite ends. So this means that the wheels are slightly off set to allow for the anchor points.
That Tamiya kit is a nice one. I built that a couple of years back in a N Africa setting.
Look forward to seeing your build.
Hello,
Quick question. Did the wheel axels on the Panzer 3 line up on each side? I started building the panzer 3 N from Tamiya, for a North Africa setting, and noticed the wheel axels do not match on each side. Looks great so far and a very nice kit, but ws just curious if that's how the real ones were.
Thank you,
