Hello,

Quick question on the easy 8 Sherman friuls.  Both bags in the kit have the drill hole facing the same way so one side will have them facing out.  Are both sides supposed to be facing inwards?  First time seeing this with friuls.

Thank you,

Matt

Nope, you end up with one side showing the pins and holes, the other side not. some Friuls sets (Pershing tracks for sure) come with separate bolt heads for the one side, but they're not particularly well-molded.

Apprentice rivet counter.

Yup, it's the same for the late Panther ones as well.  Kit ATL 08.

One of the issues with Fruil tracks for Shermans is they are too heavy.  Be careful as actual Sherman (and their variants) had very taut tracks.  Fruils are great for Soviet or WW2 German tanks -- not a very good choice for Shermans or most other US tracks which were designed to be very taut.
