Can't go wrong with Tamiya.  Stay away from Kitty Hawk kits.

Are you on a budget or is the sky the limit? While I can afford any of the available kits, I'd rather pick and chose the highest priced kit based on my personal interests. Sometimes someone will put a kit I really wanted to try up for sale or trade and I'll jump on it, like the Orachi M3A3 deluxe kit. Other times, I'll surf eBay or online retailers looking for a great deal, like the AFV Club M60A1. But if I just get the urge to build a (insert random tank) kit, I might just grab any old one I find for cheap. Usually from someone who has just bought the latest and greatest and now has the previous "latest and greatest" up for sale.

AFV Club's M109A6 Paladin is an excellent kit.

Mengs M2A3 or M3A3 Bradleys are also excellent.  Both have (or can have - seperate kit on the M3A3) full interiors.

Well, for something a little more unusual Academy's K1A1 South Korean MBT is one of the smoothest builds I've done in years of a modern tank. It's truly one of those stick an X-cto knife and a tube of cement in the box, shake, and it assembles itself.

You have to give us a little more to go on.  Do you prefer armor, tracked, wheeled, artillery, open-topped, Russian, WWII, German, NATO, US, modern, cold war, IDF, etc., etc...  The list goes on and there are hundreds of kits that could be recommended.
