Cool Soviet Winter Camo: How to Paint it?
Posted by MonsterZero on Friday, November 25, 2016 10:53 AM

This is one of my favorite Soviet winter camo schemes from World of Tanks. Should this be airbrushed or painted by hand? What would you do to replicate this on a model?

You can do it by hand,or shoot it thru a pattern cut in cardboard,I would go hand, your pic looks field applied,in real life, not sure.

Tojo has some good advice there. One other option would be to paint the whole thing in the lighter whitewash scheme and then put little blobs of poster tack or Silly Putty all over the model, spray the Soviet green and then remove the blobs.

You could use bits of irregular cut painters tape as a mask.
