you just gotta imply the margaritas, by placing the figs tank and a bottle of margarita mix on the turret

Brass rod as mentioned, but I'd go a bit longer, both into the leg and into the base. If you're using foam, you can drill into both legs and planf the figure for more stability.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Hot glue works well except for the lump you have to paint over after you glue it on

You should be able to use White gule to hold the figures in place on the foam without it being eaten away... Just bring t5he ground cover up a little onto the figures feet and that should hide any white glue that sneaks out...

Use a pin-vise with a small bit and drill a hole in the bottom of one foot, then glue in a piece of brass rod or steel wire about 1/4-3/8 inch long. Plant.

Figures in dioramas
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, March 22, 2004 12:33 AM
i've got a question:
Many armour model kits come with figures, i am building a diorama and i was wonder if anybody knew the best way to get the figures to stand up on their own and so that they don't fall over. i am using a foam (the pink stuff you can get at a hardware store for insulating) base so glueing is not an option.

thanks,
Greg
