My second set of Armour, Sorry about the quality of pics..
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, March 22, 2004 7:30 AM
Hi guys this is the second kit I built... I made a 25 pdr with a Quad of Airfix make.. The last of the Airfix kits.. Plenty of flash and lousy fit but I guess It went together better than the Panther and the Bofors.. So once again... Kindly give me your comments... Thanks.. I've used flat paints all along this time so the shine has been eliminated.

The pix are small and hazy on my machine, but what I can see looks good!
Good job on a tough kit.

Mine too Brian. Looks good. Maybe you should try taking a photo without the flash. I might help darken up the photos.

The problem is I dont havea digitalcamera! So I used a Web cam...My digital cam is on "loan" for threee months!! The lighting is provided by a study table lamp hence the hazy image.. Will try and get the pics 'cleared' up As soon as possible! Sorry!

Nandakumar,
well, those are pretty good for webcam pics!
but you had better get your 'real' camera back! :-)
looks like you have done a good job on that venerable kit.
the flat paints came out very well.
not a bit of shine to be seen.

Looks great. You could have entered that into the Towed Gun Group Build.
Thanks for sharing.
