I thought this was actually a pretty decent kit and certainly a good a value for the money ($16 from the vendor room at the 2015 IPMS Nationals), compared to what newer armor kits go for. I sought to mirror the box art with my build - if you're going to have wading trunks, might as well have it going wading.
That's pretty amazing Paul. One of these days I'm going to try to do some kind of water diorama.

Looks real sharp! Although I would suggest a black sand beach as that particular tank fought on Iwo Jima.

I really like the water effects going on. Very effective.

It's not a bad kit. The suspension dates back to their old M4A1 from the early 80s. The upper hull from around 1989 when they released the M36B1 Jackson and "M4A2" Jumbo. The turret from 1996 when they released the Calliope.
Not the best Sherman tank, but a decent kit nonetheless.
Nice work on the Sherman and the water effect looks really cool. Looks like you used cotton balls for the water streaming off the sides?

Really nicely done.
"le plaisir delicieux et toujours nouveau d'une occupation inutile"
Yes, that's right - cotton balls, Future, and some Woodland Scenics water effects.
Wow, amazing diorama!
