Howdy Ted, and welcome to FSM!Big Smile [:D]
I just checked my copy of "1946/2000 The Complete Works of Tamiya," and found only one Jagdpanther listed as No. 7. It's a 1/25 scale kit, motorized, with remote control. The remote control version sold for 1,800 yen when it went on sale in April of 1967 (with the name "Rommel!"). That is the "1800" in the number you see on the box. The book makes no references to "DR2008" or "No. 8," but No. 8 in the Deluxe Tank series was the 1/25 Chieftain.
That's all the info I have! I'd say it's pretty vintage, though.

I have no ref books on Nichimo, so I can't help there at all.

I tried your links, but none of them worked for me.

Good luck!

Vintage Tamiya Mokei & Nichimo Tank Kit info??

Hi all!
I have what I think are 2 vintage kits?? In the past I've been able to tell the age by looking at decal sheets, instructions or the box! In these case, NO! I can't find anything!

The Tamiya Mokei kit is, number DR2008-1800. It's a Jagd Panther. It's says "NO. 8" on the outside of the box, then it says "Series No. 7" on the instructions. I've seen it on Ebay, saying this is a '60's vintage kit, I've been told 70's vinatge! Anyone know?

The MiniCraft, Nichimo is kit # RS-3010-1000. I can't figure out anything on this one?? It's a Panzerkampfwagen IV. I haven't th foggiest idea how old it is! Any information, or were to get it would be apprecaited!
Just click below for the Pix's!

Many thanks, Ted
