That will be a good start, it looks a good deal diferent that the USMC one too,



I read some whare that the ones for 3rd ID were made by a contrator in the gulf, that would explain the dif.

Basically the bustle rack extension found in the DML USMC Baghdad is actually the version used by the 3ID, don't know if the Marines used the same design or not.

Here is what it looks like.

3/7 Cav M1A1 bustle rack extention?

Would any of you have reference material on the bustle rack extensions used by 3/7 Div. Cav. in OIF on their M1A1 Commons. I have not been having verry good luck, I have a good deal of info on the USMC racks but I hear they are different than the Army ones, are they close enough or could I modify the Eduard kit. Any info would be greatly appreciated, pics, links, rough drawings, I'm getting disheartened.
