AI did a nice job there MM, I'm holding out for a 35th scale one, and a "Grumble". For some odd reason I have developed a taste for modern Russian vehicles. Are those the kit tires or aftermarket? The sample I saw unbuilt looked good except that kits particular tires. They reminded me of the old 1/48th scale Patriot battery, kinda toy like. Anyway cool rolling thermos bottle.

Thanks for all kind comments and compliments! I really appreciate them!

Pat, you may say that this Russian Missile Launcher is the grand daddy of your Oscar Mobile!

armornut, those are the kit's tyres, no aftermarket product. It's been a far cry from the ARII's 1/48th scale Patriot battery that you mentioned. Trumpeter has released a lot of modern Russian vehicles including missile launchers, but they costed a lot - nearly or over $100 each with shipping. This TOPOL 1:72 paired with Zvezda's Terminator 1:35 costed only $32.99 on ebay (seller's in Lituania). I added another box of Zvezda's Modern Russian Infantry ($ 8.99) and the total shipping of 3 boxes costed only $20.00.

Such a bargain!

Mike, it's been years since I watched my last movie. I usually prefer documentary films.

Thanks for the reply MM, I totally understand the Trumpeter cost, my stash has all of thier latest wheeled releases,( Smerch, Scud, Bereg..), thought my wife was gonna have me get a second job to buy them LOL. While 72nd is less exspensive and demands less real estate I think I will wiat for the 35th release. Maybe I will win the lottery before it releases. You do have a really nice model there.

My pleasutre. Let me know if you finish one of those. I got only the Smerch. I have old Scuds by Dragon. The Bereg still costs too much same as other missile launchers. I gotta buy some lottery too...

Okay, nobody else is saying it, so I will:  That is the single most phallic piece of military hardware ever.  If it had been around during the making of The Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, it could've been a porno.  Alright, got it off my chest - beautiful model!

I had to open online dictionary for the meaning of "phallic" and now I know what you mean. But was The Attack of the 50 Foot Woman a real movie? I've never heard about it. Thanks for your comments on the model.

Unfortunatly it was a real movie, made in the 1950s I think. I have never seen it, there was an animated movie called Monsters vs Aliens that has a 50ft woman as one of the characters, much funnier IMHO. So Trumpeter is going to release a 1/35th "Grumble" this year, uber excited, can a 1/35th "Topol" be far behind?

Thanks for your answer, armornut! Hard to believe it was real. I was too young then. As for Topol 1:35 I'm sure you'll get it some day, maybe next year. Save up now... it gotta cost a lot!

Art Intructor did a great job on that!  That came out really nice, I had no idea you collected armour as well.  I normally only see massive amounts of aircraft from you and Mr. Art Instructor.  Now, another nice addition and unique build to your collection.  If I may ask, what else besides aircraft and armour do you collect?  Thank you in advance.

Thanks so much for your kind comments, Toshi! "Art Intructor" used to build a lot of armors & dioramas for me for nearly two decades, until my armor stock run out (except a few newly acquired ones). Many warplanes, warships, submarines and figures remain in stock. I collect anything and everything military (no sci-fi, no Gundam). This video clip shows my collection and some statistics. I hope you'll like it:
