well, what you could do is, have a short dio, with a whole bunch of pissed off russians standing around it-you see, they just painted her up all pretty, started her up, and, ran out of gas within 20 feet! all that work for nothing-you know, just have track marks moving in a loop accross a road, and turning back, and have it sitting there-road rage of the steppes

Lol! That's a good idea! I just might have to try that!

Nice builds, Duke, but as asked above, who makes the kits?? How were the builds?

These are Hasegawa kits, and they are quite easy to put together! The build was smooth, except for putting on the steering wheel, and there are some small gaps between the upper hull and lower hull when they are put together. The gaps are mostly near the middle or back of the kit, so they are easy to fill and sand with gap-filling CA glue, which is what I used. There are a lot of extra parts, so if anyone wanted to make a 251/1 out of it, that was possible.

Yeah, they were done in 1943 and sent to the Eastern Front first. That's why I decided to make a Russian captured one. And yeah, the Russians had more weapons than they knew what to do with by that time, so now I have to find a couple of machine guns in that scale to put on the Russian vehicle! Wink [;)]

Great models, Duke..! What's next???

You mean besides the two Trumpeter Kirov-class Russian battlecruisers that are nearly done? I believe you've seen the two wingy-thingies I'm working on, so I guess thanks to Nandakumar's pics of the Bofors he built, I think I'll dig that out and start it, along with Monty's caravan, and also, (gasp!) my last ACE kit! At Stalingrad, it was one in two that actually got a weapon. Poor bastards.

Looking really good Duke. Still dumbfounded over your patience for something so tiny.

Well, here they are in all their Glory!

This first one os my pic of the German Sdkfz 251/9 Shtummel (Stumpy) that I finished up:

And here is the one captured by the Russians:

Notice the lack of machine guns. I did that because I figured that the crew would have taken then when they bugged out in front of the advancing Russians.

Hey, it coulda happened!

Now if I could find some Braille Scale Russian heavy machine guns that I could mount on it, that would be cool! Still, I'd have to wait for more cash though. Maybe someday. I still have so many other supplies to get!
