Van One thing is for sure. The Alclad bond well with metal parts.

Well that's something I haven't heard before. Good to know!

Yaaaa. After the first wash the camo came to life.
Thank you Mike.
Hello,
The tracks are on temporally. I want to se how do they look. There are some fresh rust spots from oil paint. I used a pallet of yellow, red, brown oil paint. Tracks whettering will continue. The last photo is from Bovington Tank Museum in UK. I went there to see the Tiger Collection. Outstanding work.
Stunning work. Not seen Alclad used on tracks before, i like the look of those.

Gorgeous!! O.O
Working with pigments. Before the wheels went on some EU Brown Earth pigmnet was applied on the hull and wheels. The metal effect on the wheels where done with buffable IRON color from MR.METAL COLOR.
Tracks so far are painted with Steel color from ALCLAD. Then I applied with brush Vallejo wash Sepia Shade. Ther will be more shades added to the tracks usng oil paints.
Hi Everuone,
Some updates:ash
Dark Shadow panel line wash was applied all over the model. After it dryed out I wiped off the excess using cotton buds.
Really nice looking KT Van! Its going to look sharp with all the chipped zimmerit and battle damage!

Hello to You All!
I was able to paint the King on saturday night .
All Tamiya paint. Khaki-green, wood brown, middle stone. I lightened up all 3 colors for aplaying darker washes later etc..
Very nice that's a mock out job on the zimmerit.
Some great work there! And I too like those scratchbuilt fenders- even better if it's an excuse to buy cookies.
Very nice, I really appreciate folks who can scratch parts.
Zimmerit comes from ATAK and its a thin slice of resin with I glued on the model.
Cheers,
Thanks Mike,
The plastic fenders comes from recycled cookies...box
Cheers
Thats looking very nice, love those scratchbuilt parts. What did you use for the Zimm.
Oooooooo! I love me some King Tiger! Well done with the AM bits. Those scratch built rear fenders look perfect.
Hello to you All!
This model is taking so long to finish it. It's ready to throw some primer and paint on it. Dragon kit nr6254. It's going to be in winter cammo. I added zimmerit, some brass, Karaya tow cables and other metal parts from Eduard. The rear fenders are scratch build. exhaust pipes are made from brass pipes. I addedMetal tracks and some battle damage. :)
