Makes me shiver, cold tanks suck the heat right out of your body. A tank with no heater is no joke cold!

Ditto  You nailed the snow look.  The base pulls this together nicely.  Really impressive work on this kit.  Thanks for sharing.

Good job, the tank actually looks frozen in snow and ice.

Hi to Everyone,

It's been 4 mounts since I posted first photos of this project. I'm done with it.

Last build was the base for this model. Its a Ikea picture frame with styrofoam inside and a lot of snow on top. I used an artificial snow I bought on ebay. The "tree" its a root and the fern comes from Part. I sprayed thin white glue with my airbrush and used salt and pepper shaker to aply the snow on the model.  On top of the base first I poured white tile grout. When it almost dried I used old plastic track to make the 2 depresed track chanels.  I used white glou to build up all the snow around.

Wow, that is excellent!  Weathering is spot on as far I am concerned.  The muffler damage is very convincing.  Sometimes mistakes end up being a bonus.  I would be happy to have that in my display case.

Yes, Ser. You're right I should spread the damage wider on other rear parts of the tank.

I must confess the damage on the exhaust covers happened .....accidentally :)

These are original parts from the kit. They were to thick so I tried to thinned it down with my Dremel tool with sending stone...and I burned through...well... I kind of like the damage so I left it the way you see it now. :)

Really like the weathering you did with this vehicle but I do have a concern.  I see this alot from other modelers where they really beat up the exhaust covers to demo battle damage as with yours.  It seems to me such damage could not be confined to just the covers.  The rear fenders nor the intake air filter covers are not damaged nor is there any secondary damage (splinter) to the rear armor or the items I just mentioned.

I am not being nic picky or complaining. I have only completed a few armor pieces which non have any damage.  I was just wondering how much consideration modelers make as what type of ammunition that did the damage and it collateral effects.  I can't believe a near miss by a arterlley shell would have such an narrow scatter pattern.

Again love your work.  I been wanting to take on a Tiger I that seen alot of combat on the eastern front and taken much directed and collateral damage.

Hello All,

Tiger is ready. I change my mind and painted the model white. Modulated with oils. I give a metal look to the tracks with Dark Steel pigment.

Hello, The mufflers guards are original plastic one. I used Dremel tool with sending stone to thin the plastic down from inside. I grind the plastic to the point that it some places the sending stone burned through these guargs.Tthat's how i got the damage looking guards..Smile
