Hi all, this kit is from 1992 but i buy it this year
No figures,no photo etch material...fast build,less parts.
i'm a little dissapointed at this box!!
But the Maus box is hardly to find where is live.(northpole )
I don't wanna start with the 48 wheels..so i search for my puttytube to get a nasty iron plate...the drillmachine came also handy.
I buy the book to get deeper into the project...cost more then the dragon kit!

Hey Razzie, it's good to see you around again.
And good job with the rusty worn-out look.
Though I think you should add a figure or three to show how giant the Maus was!

Maybe its not the look you were going for, but i like it. Might have to try and grab that book as well.

Where are my soldiers to put on the tank??
let me see...i found some tamiya krauts here...

Lol, yes they do give a good impression of how gigantic the Maus is!
Gamera Lol, yes they do give a good impression of how gigantic the Maus is!
Thanks "Gamera",on those 5 years they build alot of tanks...the iron industria was running on 200% i think....so many diffrent kinds of models....
what are u building for the moment?
Too much, need to concentrate on one at a time:
Takom T30/34
Dragon M6
Trumpeteer E-100

Good luck with your E-100
I was looking around to make some natural mud...and Tamiya has diorama paint in a jar.
Then i try some Ak mud to splash over it and this are the results :
And i wanna say the mud is also natural like on the B/W pictures :
Becos some people gonna say ;
The Maus is 180 ton, driving 20km/h on road so how can it be that the mud is so high on the tank?
Look for youself :)
Even the mud came inside the tank...
Nice job.
You would be surprised at how high up mud can get and where it can get into, even when driving at low speed.
Yeah, the mud looks the real thing to me too.
The rolled steel affect with the putty is great!

At the plate: 1/48 Airfix Bf109 & 1/35 Tamiya Famo
On deck: Who knows!
I like the raw look of it. It looks like it came off a late war factory.

Man, that Maus is one BIG mass of armor madness! You did a super job on it!

Thank You all for the nicely words you bring here.
Let me see i upload some old photo's here again...becos of that website of bucket where i upload my photo's was "OUT OF ORDER"
This one is just to see how big that MAUS is!!
I like the overhead shot of the line up. Even the Tiger II looks small with the Maus there.
Is that an E100 next to the Maus? If so, I didn't realize it was nearly as big as the Maus!!
