stikpusher Rob Gronovius The Leopard Panther from "A Bridge Too Far" was the theme tank award winner at the AMPS 2014 Tanks on Film show. It earned a gold in the sci-fi/fantasy category. I would love to see that. Do you have any links to photos of that build?

I can look this weekend. The movie folks apparently used a Dutch variant.

If you can't find them, I'll hit up Joe Bevans at AMPS here and see if he can find the issue.
The Dutch Leopards are not too different from the German ones in most respects. Especially after they added the film VisMods.
all I know is that on the hobbyboss Facebook page they announced it would be a lot just of the movie tank from battle of the bulge. So I'm assuming markings and all. But the takom kits do look like they'd suffice

The new German King Tigers scene from Battle of the Bulge.
Tony, yes it was. I didn't see no mention of a M47 kit in the markings for that movie, but i guess one of those Takom kits could be used for that.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Interesting I just remember hearing about it a few months ago and then no other news.
No, but I think it was Takom recently came out with several different versions in 1/35. Or was it Meng? But we finally have some latest generation M-47s in 1/35. Not that the old Italeri kit is bad... All it really needs is new tracks and a new .50 for the TC.
has anyone heard of the M-47 from hobby boss was going to be released soon?
