Been researching through Google images on a M4 Sherman Jumbo and I can't tell if the glass on the periscope prisms are clear or have a tint of green. I know several modelers say they paint them crystal green but are they really?
Is the glass on the commanders copolas clear or tinted? I just can't tell in the pictures I seen. The color pictures I seen are to far away or the tank is button up so there is no light passing through to tell for sure. Every site I visited talks about the type of glass used but not the color. I guess I haven't found the right site yet.
