Thanks snap had not seen those. I had seen the Voyager gun, but that only comes with the more usual type of muzzle as seen on smaller guns. I think i will go for that 128mm gun, and i like that other muzzle option as well.

I do have some exhausts from Paper Panzer  and going to switch the letter box MG flap for a ball mount from a Panther, so the gun will make a nice addition. Will grab that in the new year, cheers for the heads up.

Incidentally, the Amusing Hobby VK7201 kit is the same turret as the lowe and has two main guns. The 105mm and a 128mm with corresponding mantlets.

For your information, both barrel types will fit both kit mantlets for 105 and 128mm mantlets, or you can use the resin that comes with the metal barrels.

the 128 mantlet and gun is only in the VK7201 kit though.

Thanks snap, had not come across that set. Think i wil check my Lowe and bar, see what i think.

My weathering is determined by the scene i am doing, doing Diorama's, i think weathering is an important part. They do look like quite simply builds, from my experiance with the Trump E-100 Jagd, i would imagine on about the same level. That was a pretty fast one to build. I am doing the Lowe next year, so am keen to get some first hand experiance.

You can use it for Amusing Hobbys' Lowe, Bar and VK7201 (lowe with the turret at the back!

They look good when put together, painted and then put on with their natural weight making them sit right.

I don't usually do weathering (not sure what I am doing with that stuff) and so, when time allows will repaint the thing. It is a nice build and looks good. It is a quite simple build and unless you decide to go to town with weathering etc then shouldn't take too long. This was a design on the VK7201/Lowe Chassis that was extended and would have supported infantry with close heavy mortar support. It had the same frontal armur as the Lowe and VK7201 although for all three vehicles I am not sure that the engine proposed would have been good enough.

I have this kit and I think it's a cracker! It goes together really well and is easy to build. I have not used the kit tracks as I don't think they are as chunky as they should be and instead I have a Friul set ready to put on.

Amusing Hobby kits are quite simple kits, but the exterior detail is for me quite simply stunning with welds and tectures etc that look good under paint.

Although this never got off the drawing board it probably wouldn't have appeared until 1945 for active service and I have chosemn to do mine in the late war camo. I use chipset accurate colours provided to me by an OPM and matched to original archive chipsets of the period.

I was trying a camo scheme but I don't think it is working and so I will paint the base RAL 6003 again and start over!

Is there some reason why you feel the need to have others build yoyr models for you?Seems strange on the surface.

Nice work you've done there. I got the one from Trumpeter, my builder complained about rubber tracks which doesn't look good. Anyway he added that if they were seperate track links it would have taken him more time to build. 

I think the battle damage is cool.

Well it's not a kit like dragon...it's more like Tamiya(fast and easy build)

The wheels are done.

I start first with a hairspray over my red primer of vallejo.

Then i use tamiya paint...(green and dark yellow)

Then came my sponge with some colors of vallejo air,and this is the result after 1 week.

The front and back wheels are done with Humbroll 27004 metal coat.

It seems more shining in real then on photo...mmm strange!!

 Almost forgot : with a rusty wash on the outside of the wheels.

That looks to be a fabulously detailed kit. I know you'll do your usual amazing work on it. This is going to be awesome.  :)

That thing is one massive chunk of steel!  Cant wait to see progress.
