Thanks gents
M1 as long as you're happy with the result it really don't matter, yes?
Joe it is a very nice kit I thought, went together free of mousetraps and has some pretty nice detail. The only part I disliked was the plug screws for the applique armor, they were very difficult to get off the sprue and keep round

Mark
Absolutely extraordinary work Mark. I really like the realism you achieved in a simple, uncomplicated dio. Well done.
I just recently picked that Academy M-10 and it sure appears to be a really nice kit. You've certainly given me some inspiration.

Love the whole concept you've got there. Great job on everything involved. The M-10 is one of my favorite afv's anyway. I've got Tamiya's old M-10 kit and added all sorts of extras to it to try and bring it up to speed. Then Tamiya comes out with the new, much better kit. Go figure! All that and the scale of the old one is way off! Oh well.
Once again, great job on " Mission objective achieved".
Happy New Year to the whole armor group. Hope you all have a great 2018. It's been informative and entertaining!
Bish Nice job on the vehicle and very nice scene. Simple but effective.

Really nice work there on the TD, figures, and the base!
Beautiful way to show a dio doesn't have to be huge- a vehicle, a few figures, and a great idea is all you need.

Thanks guys
Hunter those are decals, and no this is not my first
Mike figures are difficult even when you know how to do them...if you have specific questions perhaps I can help out. Sounds like you're on the right track with the vegitation, all one can do is experiment 'till you like the results.
The base is a commecial offering, Verlinden's street fighter is what it's called. I picked it up very cheap a few years back and decided to knock the dust off it and get it out of the stash. It's resin and comes with all the challenges associated with that particular material but with a little care builds and paints up pretty well
Super nice diorama! Love the guy with the bottles of wine!
I've been working off and on (mostly off ) on a small diorama for my M48A3 - my first armor kit - but I find the figures to be really difficult for me. I also don't have the vegetation down yet to my satisfaction. I really like the brick/cobblestone street setting you've done. Was that built by you or is it available aftermarket?

Mark,
Very nice work sir! Did you spray on the markings, or is it decals? Looks great. Is this your first diorama?

I will do a wood surround for the base but not today as it's three degrees in my unheated garage
