The way you've finished the accessories on the tank is outrageously realistic! Hard to believe they're 1/35 scale.

Here it is, finished. There were many weathering stages, day after day, or with some breaks to let paint dry. I've started to use lighter fluid for oils and enamels for its quick drying. It speeds up the process, I am quite inpatient and need to see results fast :)

I am happy with the look of the model, but I think that next cat will be 3d printed, it didnt turn out very well, figures are also not so well painted but I need more practice.

Nice looking build. I got one of these as a Christmas present in 1988. I thought it was a nice kit then.

Any new food is welcome by the crew, and the easiest way to cook potatoes is to bake them in embers of campfire :)

Are you going to roast or boil the potatoes? (Too long a process to make vodka I suppose so I guess you're out of luck there)

Seriously all the auxiliary pieces you've made for the tank (and, I assume, the diorama) look great! The figures - just brilliant!

Not knowing much (anything really) about armor, where the potatoes a food stable that the crew relied on?

Weathering/chipping looks really good.

I've a lot to learn about armor.

Ohhh, great job there on the storage and the figures. 

Everything is in base colour painting for now, but i hope to finish it today (add chips on body of the tank), so only figures here.

Cat was sculpted with a brush, using Tamiya's Putty dilluted to consistency of thick paint. Layer afte layer I've builded it. I did it that way because I was unable to sculpt something so small with Epoxy Putty (I've tried several brands).

I like the PE grills. I gave up on my Dragon kit one and went back to the kit version.

Ziemniaki Potatoes) are done with epoxy putty. You can mix putty with pigments or just roll them in pigment while they are still sticky. Just roll small balls, everyone can do that ;)

Paint scheme will be "russian green", I'll try to get close to faded 4BO, or something similar. I will try rather light colour, but 4BO in some sources is believed to darken, in other to lighten over time, so I'll do some tests.  

No white eagle :) It will be russian, from Belarus. here is info about my reference tank:

Yes, snap fit, they are delicate, you have to bend them a little. I've break few of them. Overall, I think I like them, they are not bad, but every link has to be cut out of sprue, if with right angle, the sanding will be minor.

How do those links go together? Snap fit? Great start on an old classic
