1/72 Scale Rivets for Early WWII AFVs

I need some help here...I want to start adding more detail to my 1/72 scale WWII AFVs including rivets.  However, I am having a hard time finding info on what size the actual rivets were on AFVs such as the early Panzer Is and IIs and the T-34/76s.  If I get an approximate rivet size I hope to then equate that to one of the “3D“ decal rivet sets made for HO railroading (realizing that I would also need to upscale the 1/87 rivets to my larger 1/72  size).  Has anyone done this?  Can anyone recommend any rivet sets that might work for me?  Thanks!
