Decision time..
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, March 30, 2004 1:52 AM
Well, since I have finished up almost 4 models in the last two weeks or so, it is time to break cellophane on a new one. Should I start my small AFV group build right away, or one of the following?

Tamiya T-55
Dragon Panzer IV, J
Tamiya IV H with Tiger Models resin backdate
Dragon Panther G with Eduard PE
Tamiya M26 (looks like a lot of parts to start during the school semester)
Tamiya Tiger I Early

So, wich one will it be guys?

So many kits, so little timeā€¦Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]

Gee, I would go with the small AFV, but with nlimited time and limited patience I'd go the Dragon Panther. You can't lose with that selection though!

I have to say the M26. Might have alot of parts but it goes together oh so sweet and no cleaning up really.

My heart leans toward the Tiger, of course, but I would like to hear about the Dragon Panther.

Either the Tamiya m26, but considering a time factor, I'd go with the T-55. Plus, I just LOVE that tank.

Thanks for the advice guys. Never thought about the scientific approach to choosing a kit, LOL. The small AFV definitely has the fewest wheels.

Ed, I feel like I messed up the paint job on my Panther, so I am eager to build another one.Evil [}:)] I will point out the mess-ups when I get some pics posted. Trust me, they are on the way.

Hmmm, I'd say the Dragon IV J with the backdate, but that's because I just got that kit and I'd love to know the good, bad, and the ugly (Wow, they should make a movie by that name!!) of the Tiger Models conversions! Besides, you've done enough Tigers and Panthers for a while!! lol

I built the T-55 and Tiger Early over Christmas and their both great kits...you cant go wrong with Tamiya.

If I had to pick it would be the T-55

Lots of roadwheels etc. Go for another Panther. Perhaps the Pershing.

Thanks for the advice guys. I think it would be wisest to stick with the small AFV group first. When I get sick of that, it looks like I will be breaking open the T-55.Big Smile [:D]
