Ok lets put on some shades...

This is a finished image of the shading done so far and the paints used.

This is the starting point.  The turret is primed with Nato Black

We begin by adding a overspray of Nato Black and a few drops of German Grey.

Next we move to German Grey and begin to define the panels and major components.

German Grey and few drops of Sky Grey and Medium Blue  highlight the panels further.

Then we finish off with Sky grey with a few drops of German Grey.

Further on in the process I may go back and re-shade some areas.

Now I use Light Grey to highlight some raised details to add more light to the model.

Now it's time to add the oil wash.  This is the first wash.  There may be several before we're done.  This one is a dark grey wash made from Windsor and Newton Flake White and Mars Black.  This will tone down the colors and blend them together.

Notice the brush strokes give a sense of streaking and paint wear.

Next we will be doing some early dry brushing and tinting.

Time to paint.  Step one.....base coat with Tamiya Nato Black to establish the shadow effect.

 Cool

Gamera

Nice to see her all together.

Cool looking tank. Somehow to me looks like a crossbreed between a Panzer IV and a British Matilda II.

You can see the panzer IV in the main turret for sure.

Looks like a cool tank. I don't envy the running gear or tracks, but once that's done it should be a joy!

Thanks!

Cool, nice to see another 'oddball' tank. And great job, that running gear looks like a headache.

Just took time, but the individual track links are next.....there's the headache.

Nice, will be watching this. I've got the Amusing Hobby kit of these tank, so will be keen to see how this one comes along.

3 of these saw service in Norway, i believe only 5 were built in total. The 3 from Norway arethen said to have been sent to Russia where they were destroyed in the early stages of the campaign.

I believe the Trump kit portrays the Rheinmetall version which were built with mild steel, the 3 that saw service in Noway were fully armoured and built by Krupp

Yes I believe you are right.  Thanks for following along.

Panzer Joe

Is that the pre-wwii german experimental tank?

Pre war, but I don't think experimental.  More like used for propaganda.  They did see combat in Norway in one version or the other.
