Those above links were great. The second one had all the pictures I could need. Thanks for the help!

GMorrison

Off topic, but that's a good photo of M48s with the jettisonable fuel tank kit installed.

There are tons of great photos on there. Eventually I will email the webmaster the ones from my fathers and my time there.

Have a look at the list of USAREUR Field Artillery units. It shows which battalions had the 280mm gun and some of those units have article links on the site with photos. Not so much good for detail reference, but great for “war stories”.

There are some footnotes to the wiki article.

That Renwal model is a lot of work to get right...

Good luck with your build and please, post pictures!

Have a nice day

Well it was a gift from my dad, looks fun, and I figured I’d make the best of it. Any good books or photo references that anyone knows of?

I see where Dragon issued a 1/72 version. That might be more worth the effort.

I don't think there are any detail or PE sets for it.  It is an ancient kit and is what it is.  It can be made into a gem though...with lots of work.

Have you seen this build of it:

He did a great job on it and shows what he did to improve it nicely.

Hi everyone,

After years on my shelf, I am just starting my atomic cannon model from Revell. Does anyone know of any good resources for the subject? Also, I have loooked for detail sets and such but can’t seem to find any. Anyone have suggestions?
