Verlinden T-34 interior for Tamiya Kit - Reviews?
Posted by KyleBragger on Friday, June 1, 2018 6:09 PM

Curious if anyone has built up a Verlinden T-34 resin interior set for the 1/48 Tamiya kit - I can't find any reviews of it and am mostly curious e.g. how the casting quality is, fit, etc.

The kit, for reference: http://store.spruebrothers.com/product_p/ver2249.htm (fits Tamiya #32515 https://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/48/tamiya/tam32515.htm)

You may have trouble finding a review of one; when Tamiya came out with their 1/48 scale T-34 and Verlinden made an interior for it, Hobby Boss had a number of T-34 variants (two T-34/76 and two T-34/85) that came out with full interiors that were cheaper than either the Tamiya kit or Verlinden interior. Why buy a resin interior when there's a cheaper kit with an interior. The Hobby Boss kit was roughly half the price of a Tamiya kit.

Verlinden went out of business a few years afterwards.

Ah, didn't realize they went under. I have two of the Hobbyboss kits waiting to get built also. Thanks for the info on the Verlinden stuff though.
