Group Build Badges?

Well a group build badge is just a token that one has been involved or has successfully participated in a particular group build. Like when we were boy scouts, we earn badges for certain accomplishments. There is no rule about the group build badges and wearing them is up to the group build member. I would assume however, that it is only proper that only members of the group build are entitled to wear its badge.

So far there are two group build badges, the Sherman Family Group Build and the Panther Group Build badges.

The other badges however are for everyone else unless of course the owner signified their exclusiveness.

The ones that I am using are for everyone:

1.) The badge showing tracks over a propeller is a token of the time when the armor forum has passed the a/c forum in the number of posts.

2.) The badge with a crashed A-10 is just a "fun" badge. Some of the a/c guys made fun of the original badge and the crashed A-10 is the answer to that.

3.) The badge showing a sprocket with tracks is a sample badge for all armor forum fans / members.

The G.B. badges you earn by completing the build.
The others Dwight will tell you about.

I like them, adds a little fun to a group build, and maybe an extra incentive to other members to complete their project.

Dwight, can you make me an "I'm still struggling through a mountain of Aber in the 1/16 Tiger group build" badge???

Hey Dwight, you're on for the Towed Gun build. Has anybody signed up your talent for a badge for that? If you get in first, you might be able to get your 88mm in the badge before anyone else objects!!!!

1/35th Tiger build
1/16th Tiger build
Weekend build
Abrams build
Towed Gun build
And now a Small Group build

Whew, you have your work cut out for you and from what I hear, the pay STINKS!!!

Actually I don't have any idea where to send the bill. LOL.
For the M1, Towed Gun and Small AFV gb's I am already planning something since I am in those gb's. But for the rest I have not received any purchase orders yet.

Wish I was here when the panther and sherman GB were going on those are nice. So how do ya go aboutputin one of those there badges on ya profile?

ok, figured it out. Go into your profile, and under Signature, type "[ img]" then URL of pic then "[ /img]"
So, let's say there's a pic that you want to use, and the address (for exaple) is
"http://www.finescale.com/pics/bs.jpg"
In your signature, just type in:
"[ img]http://www.finescale.com/pics/bs.jpg[ /img]"
I had to do this with quotes and spaces between the [ and img and [ and /. Just do this without the quotations and spaces

just put the text he shows in your sig, but w/o the spaces & quotes.

the problem is, we can't show EXACTLY what to type on the forum, as it would simply interpret it as an instruction and embed the image.

Hehe now it makes sense and I'll add the awesome panther group build to my sig and wait for my towed badge....

well, i managed 2 get the treadhead 2004 badge into my sig yesterday,
but i'm having trouble getting my 'ducks in a row'...
the badges won't sit in a line like everyone else's.
so, what am i doing wrong ?

Frosty, After your first picture line is typed in, do not hit enter, continue with your second line and your pictures will be lined up. I hope this works.
