The paint is nontoxic.....It's the seven pints of Guiness I consume while waiting for it to dry that lead to this.Blush [:I]

I thought i saw a hole in the rear of the tank.
Dwight, we only need 2 shermans. I put a few rounds on the side that wasn't visible

Sherm, there's something wrong with the ratio here. There should be at least 5 M4's knocked down for that Tiger 1 to go down. LOL.

Not bad guys. I think we all ought to get out more.

That said, you have happened on the reason I only build German armour. Can't afford potential damage to my house.

I don't remember 'hide behind the compressor' being an Allied Armor Tactic. I thought they just sent so many ducks that the Tigers got confused and didn't see the plane.

Pretty good Sherm, Approve [^]
I guess the Kubel full of batteries didn't make it up in time. I KNOW I don't build Typhoons so it couldn't have been one of them. Did we just solve the Wittmann demise question?

It's my own fault for conducting two builds simultaneously, especially Radio Controlled. I was waiting for the Tiger's paint to cure while working on the M4's suspension. I knew I should have disconnected the batteries, but was tired and lazy.
This morning I open the shop door and it looks like things got pretty rough last night....

There's a dent in the Tiger's front plate and the batteries are dead (typical!), but the M4's had it. Looks like it took a hit in the turret ring as it was trying to take cover behind the compressor.
I would have thought that the difference in scale would have worked to the Sherman's advantage but apparently even it's 1/16 armor is too thin for a 1/35 88.
Well I guess I have to salvage what I can and call Tamiya for parts on Monday.
