Revell 1:35 Jagdtiger.. Any good?
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, April 5, 2004 10:02 AM
I've got a birthday coming up and a possibility of some cash to go out and buy me summat nice. Now I'm hoping to be able to get a nice double action spritzpistole (German for airbrush.. Just sounds really funky..), but should the money shells fall short of their target I was considering the Revell 1:35 Jagd tiger. For some strange reason I'm developing a soft spot for this hideous monstrosity..

Has anyone built this thing and if so, what are your findings.. Worth it?

It's the Dragon kit, sans PE, reboxed by Revell.

It's a great kit! Lucky thing, too, since it's the only decent 1/35 kit out (not counting Tamiya's ancient collector's item and the old Nichimo crapper).
Two versions from Dragon: Henschel and Porsche suspension. I have the Porsche kit.
Great kit!

I always thought "spritzpistole" was interesting, too!

Yes it is a nice kit,I can recommend it.
If it's anything like mine( bright yellow plastic)you'll need sunglasses while building.

Decent kit. I got it as a gift, so I can't comment on how it builds up. Let me know if you decide, of if anyone has a buildup article on the net..
