I took from the thread title that these are 1/6 scale figures, 12 inches tall, classic GI Joe size.

This type of model had an explosion in popularity back in the late 90s and early 2000's.  Some toy soldier magazines had regular features on 12-inch figures, announcing the latest releases from companies like Dragon.  There were historical figures-figures of actual personalities-as well as characters representing the average GI, or Landser, or Tommy, and so on.

But the interest in 1/6 seemed to have peaked about eight or nine years ago, going from what I saw at shows and in print.  Still, it's very cool to see vignettes in this scale!

For what it's worth, a whole group of dynamic action figures.

The action is a little dramatic, but certainly gets ones attention.

I too would like to understand the context.  But WOW, really impressive work and exceptional action.  The expressions and action and face painting are really well done.   Master class work.

Yeah, a guy in our club collects these figures. Not really my thing but they're pretty darn nice. Really high-quality painting on the faces and great looking uniforms and weapons.

Technically I'm not sure they fit as 'models' since they're already assembled and painted but fantastic work here on posing them in some great action scenes! The work on the ground, foliage, and the rest of the diorama stuff is amazing!!! You should be shooting movies!!

They absolutely fit, because these have been superdetailed.  They don't come out of the box like this, with shading and highlights painted, for example.  Some of the bodies have been enhance to add physical detail, and detail added to the equipment and gear.

Thanks for the correction Baron. I've only seen a few of my clubmate's figures and didn't know these had been superdetailed. I loved this before, love it even more now!

when Japanese lost their fright they choice to suicide, but it was not hopeless because their friends add to keep fighting !

some warriors should sacrifice for their Japanese gods so they should pray before with their children, finally they against the tank in blood battle, such battle you can see in each place of Pacific war when the hell was open ,even thought it's helpless but fight for the honor !
