Thanks guys, I will drill thos holes even if it costs me whole week to do so, this Zelda will be in a dio (I will rebuild a newspaperphoto), I've already got the Israeli roadsigns and some barbwire from verlinden.
Today I will take my kit and some material to my work to make a start with it.

PS Very nice pic Zverdna, how long did it take you to drill the holes ?

Bing, bing, bing.... WE HAVE A WINNER!

That my freind is the $64,000 question, I wish i had the answer. IDF Sand Grey verrys a good deal but after some reserch here is what I use;

1961-73

1/2 Tamiya XF-60 and 1/2 XF-57

1973-82

1/3 Tamiya XF-20 1/3 XF-57 1/3 XF-59 with green filters from Winsor Newton oils

1982-

1/2 Tamiya XF-20 1/2 XF-57

Dont know if it is 100% but good enough for me.

Good luck,

Brian

I also have a still to bilt academy m113 zelda, perpforations on add-on armor could have been made after 1992, have not seen any battle photo of zelda with that add on armour, see Concord Takl Battles of the Mid-East wars 1973-present.

Is anybody familiar with the Israƫli M113 Zelda version ?

My question is the following one ; I have the 1/35 Academy kit (great kit), featering extra armor plates that go almost completely around the vehicle.
I have seen those plates attached in only one unsharp newspaper photo.
The plates in the kit have douzens, mayby hundreds of little round depressions, and my question is now ; are those holes in the real plates or depressions too ?
