Wife was out of town for 2 week so nothing else to do but model! 

 

Finished this academy Stug IV today.

Excellent camouflage. I like that the chipping is not overdone. The tracks look like the vinyl ones. If they are you did an great job on them.

haha, yeah she and the kiddo went back home to Germany for A bit so kinda boring around the house with just me and the dogs, so what better way to pass time then work on a model.

i feel a lot of people way over doo the weathering and chopping.

 

being someone who was active in the military and over seas in two theaters of war, we always took care of our vehicles. They were a life line. Chips and nicks are inevitable but over all dirtiness and non maintenance of AFV’s just doesn’t happen or stay that way for long , as crews always kept up maintenance and vehicle cleaning while not actively fighting in them.
