Nice work! The grille looks a little odd from the front but otherwise great job!

Pawel

Hello!

Now we're talking! It's lookin' good. Did you have fun? If so, then I guess you'll build more of those 1:72 babies now!

Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Paweł

Of course to both! Cool I love it!

Gamera

She looks good to me. Nice work!

Is there anyway you can post larger photos though? She is kinda hard to see (and my eyesight isn't the greatest).

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on building the old ESCI 1/72 M3 Scout Car? I found one on ebay and got it, only to find many of the parts are crude.Tongue Tied

Thank you! I never thought of it like that, although I have seen some aftermarket kit for it on ebay. I guess I'll give it a shot! Say, know any reference material on the White M3?

Squadron makes a walk around book for the M3A1 #5720. Has really good full color photos of the exterior and interior. Price isn’t bad either it be be had for around $10.

Matt-  The Antique Auto Aero Museum in Hood River, OR has one.  They might be able to send you some pics and data on it.  Just do google for WAAAM and they should show up.

Hello Matt!

But that's the point of those ESCI models - they let you show off your skill and demonstrate what beautiful model you can build out of that old and simple kit!

More seriously, the thing is how bad do you want to build it? I mean it's a very special type of fun, but you can improve that kit by getting photoetch for it, maybe some 3D printed parts, replacing some armor with thinner styrene sheet or sheet metal - many possibilities you just need some time and will to do it. Or you might just put it together in one or two hours and concentrate on the painting - that could be fun, too. The most important factor is your mindset here. Good luck with your Scout car and have a nice day
