Squadron makes a walk around book for the M3A1 #5720. Has really good full color photos of the exterior and interior. Price isn’t bad either it be be had for around $10.

But that's the point of those ESCI models - they let you show off your skill and demonstrate what beautiful model you can build out of that old and simple kit!
More seriously, the thing is how bad do you want to build it? I mean it's a very special type of fun, but you can improve that kit by getting photoetch for it, maybe some 3D printed parts, replacing some armor with thinner styrene sheet or sheet metal - many possibilities you just need some time and will to do it. Or you might just put it together in one or two hours and concentrate on the painting - that could be fun, too. The most important factor is your mindset here.
